Medical Nutrition Therapy is individualized assessment and education by a Registered Dietitian (RD). An RD is a medical professional and food and nutrition expert with at least a four year college degree, national registration and annual continuing education. An RD can help you: separate fact from fiction regarding nutrition, help you decide what changes would improve your health for the long term and help you develop a plan to implement these changes.

Other conditions may be covered. Please check with your health insurance carrier as to which services and conditions, including how many visits, are covered under MNT. It is the responsibility of the patient to know their benefits prior to the initial appointment. Please bring your insurance card along with referral (if needed) with you at the initial visit along with any pertinent labs you would like to review.
